Description
Creality Ender 5 S1 3D Printer
The all new Creality Ender 5 S1 3D printer is one of the most exciting machines to hit the consumer market. An upgraded motion system allows for a 250mm/s print speed. With a higher efficiency rating than many other printers, print time reduction can be upwards of 65%.
One of the most anticipated features of this printer is the Direct “Sprite” Extruder which is all metal and has a gear ratio of 1:3.5. Having an all metal hotend allows for higher temperature printing which opens up the possibility of using more materials.
The extruder for this printer has been fitted with a new design for cooling named the “Urus” air ducts. These air ducts channel the strong wind generated by the 5015 fan towards the freshly printed section allowing for stronger and more efficient cooling.
As is becoming standard with 3D printers, the Ender 5 S1 has a couple of different ways to print. The classic way of printing from an SD card remains, however printing directly from a computer via a USB and Cloud.
